Two 30-minute pieces of music have been further divided into 3 parts to create 6 tracks.

Featuring lots of SKATCHWHEEL, Tom's last significant addition to his skatch family.

Tom built many different types of skatch surface instruments. Variations in size and complexity, with applications from functional to pictorial to sculptural and even wearable.

But while the skatchwheel shares the same materials and basic sound-producing principles as skatchplates etc, it differs significantly in the design by placing the surface on a disc and incorporating a spinning turntable. This created possibilities for more constant sounds and consistent comb movement. Shifting the angle and pressure of the combs creates tonal and volume shifts, and by moving between the concentric circle "tracks" in the design, noisy pitch values can be played. In addition to hand-held combs, Tom also set up extendable arms to hold combs at steady positions, making multiple drone textures possible. Two types of turntables were used: one, without a motor that was hand-turned, and a second, with a variable-speed motor, that was built for him by Sudhu Tewari.
